Clowning Around!
On Thursday we had an exciting visit from Terry the clown. Terry juggled, rode his unicycle, balanced a feather on his nose and a lot more! We practised some acrobatics and had a lot of laughs. It was a great day!
2D’s Motto & Mascot
2D is always on track. We never talk behind other’s backs. When we come to school we are polite and bright. We always have our goals in sight!
Splash is our class mascot. He is helpful, friendly and kind.
Term 3

This term in 2D we have been learning about People Who Help Us. We have had a variety of guest speakers talk to the students about their occupation.The children also experienced running a Restaurant in their classroom. The students prepared fruit platters, set the tables, took orders, served food, wrote menus and tallied their bills. This was an exciting day and was enjoyed by all students. To conclude the term the students have designed and created their own emergency vehicles. We have had a great time this term and are looking forward to another exciting and productive term in term 4. Each week we have been learning about a different occupation. We have researched various occupations using books and listening to guest speakers. We then wrote our own sentences and used them to create a powerpoint presentation. We have learnt about inserting pictures, sound, backgrounds and transitions.
