Sustainability
This term in 6B we have been learning about Sustainability. Students in 6B have enjoyed learning about a range of sustainable practices and ways that we can live more sustainably. Students have completed a variety of tasks which we would like to share with you. We hope you enjoy them. The Students of 6B
The Eco House

This is the ‘Eco House’. The design includes large north facing windows, solar panels, water tank and deciduous trees. The materials used to build the house are straw bales and bamboo.
Energy Saving Camping Light

This ESCL is designed to help campers who usually use a torch. The ESCL provides a lot of light and helps the environment because it runs on solar power. The ESCL has reflectors on it which doubles the light and a safety remote which makes it fire safe.
